My Personal Experience
As you know, I’ve been curating gift guides for over 8 years. I’ve seen it all, tried it all, and pretty much bought it all. But I haven’t been this excited about a unique gift idea since I discovered Tinggly a couple of years ago. This time it’s The Adventure Challenge – which is basically a super fun and really unique “scratch off” idea book for exciting (and sometimes adventurous) things for couples to do together, singles to try out on date night, fun things to do with your friends and even, most recently, your family.

On a personal note, I’ve added The Adventure Challenge gift to a ton of my gift guides over the past season or two like gifts for couples, wedding gifts, for BFFs, and even last minute ideas. The point is, this is really fun for just about everyone. With TAC, each book will come with unique ideas for you to do, which you’ll scratch off (I love lottery tickets, so this is right up my alley), along with rough budgets for what things may cost (like if it was a cooking/recipe date), and even a place to fill out notes about your experience along with a place to stick a photo you take. Some of the book bundles come with an instant camera so you can snap a pic and attach immediately.
While I personally love it, clearly, I’m not a dating expert. But even the actual dating experts who come up legit dating ideas have given The Adventure Challenge books their stamp of approval. Believe it or not, the price isn’t too bad overall. I’ll get into it a bit below on some ways you can save even if you don’t have a promo code. But don’t worry, there is one.
Overall, it’s such a fun experience that’s totally unique and a great way to find different things to do by yourself or with your loved one(s). You gotta check them out.
How I Saved
The average price I found on their website is $45. And, believe me, any gift you can find under $50 really is a win. Of course, if you choose some bundled options that come with a camera the price will definitely go up. But the promising news is that when it comes to coupons and the like, The Adventure Challenge does have them!
There isn’t a magical code to use that you’ll find on other websites. Nope. TAC provides their own and doesn’t really make a big secret about them (and follow them on Instagram to see last minute offers and giveaways too). As a new buyer at the time, I was able to get a 10% discount code just by entering in my email address. Tack that on with their free shipping offer (they provide the code for that as well with minimum spend) you can actually save a decent amount overall.
