I’m never going to another wholesale “membership” retailer again. Yeah, we’re looking at you BJs! I’ve been able to find just about everything I need in bulk from the folks at Boxed and at really amazing prices right now too. Here’s my experience and where and how you can save.
My Personal Experience
There are a lot of place out there where you can buy some of your favorite products in bulk. Some of my personal favorites are BJs, Costco and even – at times – Sam’s Club. The only problem I have is that, honestly, I don’t feel like going to them anymore and lugging everything home. Plus, how many different memberships can I have? So I basically cut the cord and just went with Boxed.
Boxed.com, not only, is top rated by independent reviewers, but they also have just about every single thing I usually want to buy in bulk from the brands I already shop. And even though some months back they didn’t have a few of the random brands I use, they eventually did get them. And since the point of buying in bulk is all about saving some extra cash, Boxed has a bunch of different incentives to do so. Don’t worry, I’ll break those all out below.

What I love best about them is really how easy it all is. I just hop online (not literally) and start clicking the things I need. For me it’s staples like toilet paper, paper towels and dishwasher detergent. Exciting life I lead, right? Trust me, there’s nothing I love more than having my pantry full stocked at all times! And did I mention that you don’t have to even pay a membership fee like at some many others? Pretty great!
What started out with just those above items has now morphed into more things I use regularly like bottled waters (Poland Springs), trash bags (Glad Force Flex), snacks (peanut butter filled pretzels), and even cans of tuna (Starkist – I hate to cook). The point is that Boxed has so many must-haves and new products, brands, and categories they’re adding regularly.
Once you place your order it actually shows up pretty quickly right to your door (and in a pretty box too). There are a bunch of ways to save on your order – whether you’re a first time shopper with them or have subscribed to them weekly/monthly, etc. I’ll share with you how I did it.
How I Saved
Ok, so the first thing you need to do when checking out Boxed is simply signing up for a free account by using your email address and creating a password. Once you do that they’ll send you your very first (unique for you) promo code for 10% off and even free shipping on your first order. Pretty easy, right?
I was able to not only snag that 10% off, but then I also signed up for their AutoSave program where you save 10% off your first order and then you get an extra 5% off every delivery moving forward. What’s cool about that is that you can pause it or cancel it at any time. So, that one time I ordered way to many La Croix’s and then went on vacation I needed to chill on my monthly order so just canceled for a bit. I picked it back up again when I was ready.
And if you’re looking for extra savings per product – they have that too. Believe it or not they have an actual coupon page where specific products are on sale – and using their coupon you can save up to 20% off select items. Check out all their official coupons right here.
I really did have such a great experience with them and hop you will too. They’re def worth checking out…just clear out some room in your pantry (basement and attic like I did!).
