MY TAKE ON FAST GROWING TREES
If you’ve been following me recently you know that I’m a new homeowner. Actually, a first-time homeowner. Basically that means I know nothing. And if you thought I knew nothing about the inside of my house, I know even less about the outside of my house. I did know, however, that I wanted to create a totally zen backyard (I work from home) and that’s where Fast-Growing-Trees.com came in handy.
They made it so simple for me to choose exactly which trees, plants, flowers, and shrubs I needed based on exactly where I live. If it were up to me I’d buy palm trees, even though I live in the northeast. Whoops! Some sites provided lists, but it was a little confusing, to be honest. But FGT was simple. Not only do they let you know which things will grow best (and last) in your specific zone, but I which work best in direct sun, partial sun, or even complete shade (I have some areas of the yard like that too). And they even have a little coupon or two to help you save some extra cash on your purchase!

Perhaps one of my favorite purchases from them were their limelight hydrangeas. Since I’m totally impatient I didn’t want to wait years for them to grow, so I was able to choose the 3-4 foot option and have it safely delivered right to my front door. Now, they’ll still grow from there, but it was nice to be able to enjoy them immediately.
And you really can’t go wrong with their prices. They’re super competitive to other major online brands, are typically better priced than our local greenhouses, and even have some amazing sales and offers taking place on a regular basis. And as a bit of an update, the three limelight hydrangeas we purchased and planted made it through the entire summer (and early fall) and continue to grow. I’m actually proud of myself for being such a rookie green-thumb, but Fast Growing Trees really made it easy. In the spring we’re going to pick out some Wisteria trees from them. Wish me luck!
