Ready to up your daily protein intake? Iconic Protein is my latest obsession for basically the best protein shakes (pre made or powder) that I’ve ever had. Here’s my overall experience and even some ways to save a bit on your order.
My Personal Experience
Ever since I’ve been trying to get myself in gear and, you know, healthier I’ve been searching for the ultimate protein shakes that don’t taste like nickels. Just me? There’s nothing worse than luke-warm protein drinks that you have to gulp down in 10 seconds because they taste like actual garbage cans. So, this is when I first discovered Iconic Protein. And you know what? I’m not going back.
I was doing research on the caffeinated protein powder trend (thanks to seeing it a ton on TikTok) and discovered Iconic. In my opinion they had the best protein shake with caffeine added that actually tastes like actual coffee. And, not only did it have 20 grams of protein, but 0 grams of sugar. Yes, really.
I’ve been loving their Cafe Latté (I toss it in the freezer 1 hour before I workout), but my only issue was that I wanted some protein later in the day that didn’t have caffeine in it because I’d be up all night. So I tried out their Chocolate Truffle protein and it’s been a total game changer for me. While they sell the powders themselves, I prefer their pre-made drinks because, well, I’m lazy and I just want to toss them in my fridge and have them ready exactly when I need them.
My only gripe (ish) is that they can be a bit on the expensive side, at least compared to some other brands. But, quite honestly, I find them way better than other brands. And if I can spend $5.50 on a coffee at Starbucks or a $10 cocktail, I’m good with their price. But, I was able to save a little on my order.
How I Saved
I’m always a fan of hunting for coupons and the like, but I think we’re all on the same page now that most sites aren’t just leaking discount codes all over the internet. And the sites that allow users to upload codes, typically don’t even work. So, I thought I’d just tell you about my experience on how I save and hopefully it’ll work for you too.
Iconic Protein allows you to input your promo code during the checkout process and they even make it pretty easy to get one. The catch? It has to come from them. All I really had to do was to open up an account (it’s free) with your email address and you info and they sent me a 20% “welcome” promo code that I could use on my first order. Pretty sweet.
Other than that, they even have offers for taking an extra 10% off when you start a weekly or monthly subscription. You’ll get an extra 10% off and they even throw in free delivery, which is actually really helpful.
