My Personal Experience
I’ve been covering some of my favorite brands lately, but I really love focusing on brands that you may not have shopped in a while. That’s how I feel about LOFT (the old Ann Taylor Loft). I really hadn’t had a need for “fancy” work clothes, as I work from home, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like to shop, especially for clothes. It’s just that my needs have changed. The good news? LOFT has also changed with the type of clothing and accessories they carry that are perfect for working from home, hanging out with friends, heading into the office (when you need to) and just about every occasion in between. Thanks to a bunch of sales and promo codes they’re offering, you can typically save anywhere from an extra 10% – 40% off your order!

There’s still plenty to love about LOFT, including the new variety of apparel they carry. Some newbies to note include:

Those are just some of my favorite things. Ann Taylor used to remind me of the older women who used to work in my office, a style that never really worked with me. But now thanks to their loungewear (variety of leggings) and fun and flattering tees, they’ve won me back over.
There was some scandal last year where apparently LOFT claimed they were no longer going to carry plus size clothing options. What a bummer. But, we’re not completely out of luck because they do have an entire “curvy” line that caters to women with – curves. Their jeans, for example, can go up to a size 32. Now is that the most plus size ever? Of course not, but at least there are more options for women that aren’t a size 2. They do promote some amazing sizes and styles directly on their Facebook page. It’s at least worth checking out!

How I Saved
Give me deals or give me death! You know by now I love a promo code or two. While there are some retailers out there that make finding lower prices a complete cat and mouse chase, LOFT makes it really super easy. They have a page directly on their site that lists out all the coupons (with the specific discount code) to use at checkout. They kind of remind me of how J Crew promotions work. There’s always something good.
Now here’s how I personally saved. First off, when I subscribed to their emails and texts I was able to get an extra 10% off my order. My advice? Save it for something a bit more on the expensive side to save the most. I was also able to take an additional 15% off when I opened an official LOFT credit card. You have to use the 15% right away and I only recommend doing this if you always pay off your bill right away each month.
