It’s always a good time for that home improvement project you’ve been putting off and Lowe’s is helping make it more affordable than ever before. I’ll tackle some of their most popular and best selling products online, along with their biggest sales of the year and the deal with their coupons (both in-store and online).
I’m a big fan of Home Depot, as you know, and it’s mainly because there are one’s right near me. But if I’m being honest, I’ve had the most luck finding in-stock items available for pickup or delivery from Lowe’s. To me their prices are pretty often the same, but it seems like Lowe’s is having more everyday sales right on their site regularly now. And you don’t even need a coupon to take part in their savings, although they do have a generous 20% coupon that I’ll get to in a minute.

Not only does Lowe’s have just about everything you for any indoor project you plan on working on, but they also have everything for just about every outdoor project you can dream up – whether you’re looking to build your own deck, create your own stone patio, redo your lawn, plant those perennials you’ve been eyeing for a while, or just your regular run-of-the-mill landscaping where you need the proper lawn mower, snow blower, or even electric edger. Sky certainly is the limit!
What’s really cool about shopping them online is the amount of inspirational content they have as well. You can really get some unique ideas whether you’re looking to give yourself a little extra curb appeal, need some kitchen countertop decorating ideas, want to learn how to put up a trend backsplash, or even some really innovative home office ideas. There’s really something for everyone and you can get all their inspiration in one place right here!
I’ve really been pleased with their prices and daily sales lately, so I think this really helps them edge out the competition a bit more than normal. Give them another look if you haven’t shopped them in a while!
LOWE’S SALES & PROMO CODE POLICYIf you’re looking for a good deal from Lowe’s you’re going to have luck just about any day of the week. When it comes to coupon codes and the like, that’s a bit of a different story. They’re not known for having a ton of them on a regular basis, but they do allow them and accept them at checkout online, and in many cases in-store as well.
I tried to track down their coupon situation and spent a ton of time on some of the regular coupon sites that have laundry lists of codes. Honestly, for me, none of them worked. So, basically the only way to get an actual working code to work is to get it direct from Lowe’s.
Right now there are two different coupons I’ve seen them running. First, when you sign up for their card you’ll get an exclusive 20% promo code to use on your order. After that you’ll get 5% off every additional order moving forward. Their card is pretty popular and has even been named as the best for DIYers by the experts at Nerd Wallet.
The second offer they have is a really generous one for the folks in the military. As of recently, Lowe’s officially offers a military discount of 10% off when you verify your military status on their site. Once verified they’ll provide you with your own 10% military discount code you can actually use every single day as a “thank you” for your service.
As far as major sales go, like I mentioned there are deals on their site every single day. However, there are some times of the year where they’re having major sales events like Black Friday where you could get up to 40% off major appliances (and so much more), Labor Day (up to an extra 30% off), Memorial Day, and even a pretty amazing After Christmas sales event.
