Forget everything you know about the pet food and accessories industry. In fact, throw everything you own and start over. One of the trendiest and fast growing pet brands is based right of NYC. Introducing: Maxbone – you and your pup will never be the same again.
My Personal Experience
I first heard about Maxbone from my friend who seems to find the trendiest dog must-haves for her dapper pup, Fritz. Fritz is always sporting the chicest leashes, raincoats, and eats what looks like the trendiest dog food we’ve ever seen. My friend told me her go-to was Maxbone, whose flagship store resides right up the street from her in Manhattan.
I was immediately hooked and couldn’t tell enough of my friends and family about them. Apparently, however, I was a bit late to the game because they’re so popular that it’s been reported that Maxbone had a 5,000 person wait-list for some of their items. The good news, the wait is over and you’re pretty much able to get whatever you need.
Their stylish and genius owner and founder, Parisa Fowles-Pazdro, is taking this multi-billion dollar industry by storm, one trendy dog (and owner) at a time. I’ve become so obsessed that you probably have regularly seen Maxbone’s most popular items added to some of my pet gift guides and even stocking stuffers. Is it wrong that I like dogs better than people? I can’t be alone!

Overall, Maxbone actively works with some of the coolest human apparel and accessory manufacturers to make sure everything they create is top quality, sustainable, practical, and maintains longevity.
I first became obsessed with their doggy raincoats (many of which I would legit wear myself if they made them for humans!), but they have a whole lot more than just that. Some of their most popular product categories include:
- Dog Food: Full meals, treats, and supplements
- Grooming Essentials: Coat therapy brushes, shampoo dispensers, wipes, and more
- Toys
- Beds
- Bowls
- Apparel: Sweaters, raincoats, jumpers, parkas, and more
Everything has a super trendy and modern edge to it. Personally, I think they should have an entire line called “Icebreakers” because everyone stops to talk to you when they see your pup sporting these clothes and accessories.
Even their food is on-trend. Some meals include ingredients like: chia seeds, ginger, coconut oil, sweet potatoes, and blueberries. And, of course, you can get them with duck, turkey, and beef.
Now I’m not going to lie, some of their items can be a bit on the pricer side. But, honestly, it’s really not that bad. In fact, some of Maxbone’s products can now be found at regular places like Petco and Chewy. And, well, you can also find them at Saks 5th Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, and Nordstrom. So, basically, there’s something for everyone. They are, most certainly, worth checking out.
How I Saved
Look, this brand isn’t really a big discount promo code type brand. Well, at least not in the way you may think. Maxbone does accept coupons right on their site. The only catch is that you have to get them directly from them. Don’t worry, they have them. Just don’t get snowed by some sites claiming to have exclusive promo codes for you to use. They seldom workout.
On a personal note, I was able to save 10% off my first order just by entering in my email and subscribing to their newsletter. They’ll send you a welcome code for 10% off. And at certain times of the year they’ll list a discount code right across the top of their site – so you don’t have to hunt for it. For example, there was recently a 30% off offer for their dog food to celebrate the new year. I definitely recommend signing up for their emails to stay in the loop and be the first to know about promo offers, future sales, new arrivals, and more.
They also have a Rewards Program you can sign up for in which you can gain exclusive access to perks, shopping rewards, and so much more. If you’re interested in learning more about that, check it out here.
Below I put together a brief list that showcases some ways you can save and also some of their coolest products and best sellers. I hope this makes shopping with them quick and easy. I’ll update this page regularly so that I don’t miss anything.
