Due to all things pandemic we’ve basically turned our house into one giant home gym. What started out as our (now favorite) spin bike (with online classes) has now morphed into an obsession to never have to workout outside of our home again. Enter Tempo. It’s the everything you need personal trainer that even comes with weights (and more) without taking up a ton of space. And it’s even been rated as one of the best smart strength trainers of the year by PC Mag.

One of the best features we love is the constant feedback you’ll get from your virtual personal trainer, including ways to improve, get stronger, and more. If you’re like us and don’t fully know what you’re doing at the gym, this really is the best way to learn from experts and, hopefully, not hurt yourself! And did we mention it looks pretty sleek too?

A total perk that we find a real game-changer (outside of the personal trainer) is how it actually comes with the weights. And, did we mention they’re all different colors? Fun! For us, there’s nothing worse than buying kind of gym equipment and then having to buy all the extras afterwards. Plus, all the weights easily store away so you don’t have to see them all over the room. Bonus!
Outside of your own personal trainer, when you sign up for a membership you’ll have access to hundreds of different classes you can take pretty much whenever you want. For us, this is a total win because if we kind of fall off the workout wagon and then get inspired at 11pm, we can sign in and just start working out. It feels great to not have to pack a gym bag, drive to the gym, etc. Total freedom.
And when it comes to classes, there really are a ton to choose from based on all different goals or workout requirements you have like:

- HIIT
- Total Mobility
- Recovery

The Deal With the Deals:
Overall there really aren’t major deals that we’ve seen over the course of our research. That isn’t to say that won’t change in the future (fingers crossed for major events like Black Friday), but for now the few deals we’ve seen included their refer a friend program where you can get a three month membership for free and you could finance your Tempo for just $55 per month. We’ll keep you posted if we uncover anything new in the future!
To Gift or Not to Gift:
We always answer this when reviewing some of our favorite retailers or products. So this one is a tough one to answer because, let’s be honest, the average person isn’t gifting something this expensive. The Deal With Promo Codes:
So, well, there aren’t any. Tempo doesn’t offer coupons or even a discount promo code (at this time, at least). We don’t offer them either. When you see them listed elsewhere there are plenty of claims of these unique codes to use at checkout, but we’ve never seen them work.
The closest we’ve seen to a promo code is their friend referral program (you’ll get three months free and your friend will get $150 off). Learn about that promotion here!
