To ensure you get the best value for your money, it’s essential to know when the best time to buy one on sale is. Don’t worry. We’ve done 5 years of research and our own internal data analysis to help you figure out the exact time to get the best deal.

The Best Month to Buy an Air Fryer

When it comes to purchasing an air fryer at a discounted price, timing is everything. While you definitely can find sales throughout the year, certain months stand out as prime opportunities to score great deals on these popular little (and not so little) kitchen appliances.

After analyzing our own data over the past 5+ years, we learned that:

November (Black Friday and Cyber Monday): Arguably the pinnacle of the shopping season, November is an excellent time to buy an air fryer on sale. Black Friday, which falls on the day after Thanksgiving, and Cyber Monday, the Monday immediately following Black Friday, are renowned for offering some of the most significant discounts of the year. Retailers across the board, both online and brick-and-mortar stores, roll out enticing deals on a wide range of products, including air fryers. It’s not uncommon to find discounts of 30% or more during these sales events. Additionally, manufacturers often release special editions or bundle deals exclusively for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, further sweetening the pot for prospective buyers.

January (Post-Holiday Clearance Sales): As the holiday season winds down, January brings another opportunity to snag deals on air fryers. Many retailers aim to clear out excess inventory leftover from the holiday rush to make room for new products. Consequently, air fryers that didn’t sell as quickly as expected may be heavily discounted during clearance sales. This makes January an ideal time to find discounted air fryers, often at prices even lower than those offered during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Again, it’s not that you can’t find one on sale, but from our data we’ve learned that March, April, and May (on average) have the least amount of sales and the least amount of a discount on the original price.

With the holiday shopping season behind and the summer months approaching, retailers typically see a slowdown in sales of kitchen appliances, including air fryers. So, discounts and promotions on air fryers are less common during these months. Retailers may focus on other seasonal products or prioritize clearance sales for items like outdoor furniture and gas grill sales instead. Additionally, as people gear up for spring cleaning and outdoor activities, they may not be as focused on indoor cooking appliances, further reducing the likelihood of finding significant discounts on air fryers during this time.

In Conclusuion

The best months to buy an air fryer at a discounted price are typically November, during Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, and January, when post-holiday clearance events offer excellent deals. These months often feature significant discounts and promotions from retailers eager to attract holiday shoppers or clear out excess inventory.

Conversely, the worst times to buy an air fryer on sale are generally during the spring and summer months, when demand for indoor cooking appliances tends to decrease.
